About MaaPa Ghar

MaaPa Ghar (“parents’ home”) is a free guide for adult children and other family caregivers who are looking after older parents at home in India.

What the site is for

Caring for an older parent brings a stream of practical questions: is the bathroom safe, which walking stick, is this blood pressure monitor any good, how do we keep the medicines straight, what do we carry to hospital? We try to answer those questions clearly, in one place, with working tools you can use on a phone: a home safety checklist, a walking-aid height helper, a blood pressure log, a medicine chart and an emergency card.

Who it is for

Adults. The site is written for family members and caregivers, not for children, and it is not a substitute for the person’s own doctor, physiotherapist or pharmacist.

Who publishes it

MaaPa Ghar is published by ISHAA ESPORTS AND MOTORSPORTS LLP, India. You can reach us through the contact and corrections page.

How the content is made

Researched and drafted with AI assistance, checked against the sources cited on each page; publisher review recorded in our corrections log.

We rely on public guidance from bodies such as the World Health Organization, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the European Society of Hypertension, American Family Physician, India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation and Government of India ministries. Each page lists its sources and the date we checked them. Where we add our own practical suggestions, we label them as ours.
